This a brief video that shows some of our preparations in action.

Preperations

In the photo's below you can see how we were trying to prepare for out shooting in Convent Garden, I  was trying to apply the make-up and nail varnish on our main character Alan as best as I could on the bus so that we could save time when we arrived at the location, and start filming straight away.

How We used Stereotypes.

We used Stereotypes to our advantages in our trailer. We did this because audiences tend to recognise stereotypes because they are familiar with them. and some might even be able to relate to them.

Street Performing

Street performing or in other words busking is a form of work, which involves performing in public places, generally for money. These performances could be literally anything as long as it fulfilled its purpose of being entertaining. Examples of types of performances are; caricatures, singing, dancing, fire eating, fire breathing, magic, juggling etc.

The most common means of employment for entertainers, before the technology developed and the media industry began to produce films etc. was street perming. The other name for street permoning busking came from the english Language around the middle 1860s in Great Britain. The word "busk" comes from the Spanish root word "buscar", meaning "to seek" – buskers are literally seeking fame and fortune Up until the 20th century buskers were commonly called minstrels in America, Europe and other English-speaking lands. 

 

Songs

If we made our teaser trailer into an actual movie the following would be songs that we would include as the would add to the comedy of our film, but also because they are popular songs that every teenager can relate to.

Drag Queens Dancing

We looked at some drag queens dancing so we knew how to make our actor dance and behave when it came to the actual filming.

Drag Queen Costumes

These are some of the drag queen costumes which we looked at, our costume was not as wild or eye catching as our characters costume was not specially made for him, but the idea was that he got his dress from his mums wardrobe.
